And I'm wondering if one or more of the cd label makers we have several of might have the optional output to the drive as opposed to normally feeding the printer. The problem of course is that while the printer takes a rasterized data format, the lightscribe would I assume need to have the rasterization done in a spiral track beginning at the outside of the hub bumper. But this is something I haven't personally investigated due mainly to the cost of the lightscribe compatible disks. Best is probably to hit google with the keywords lightscribe and linux & see what falls out. -- Cheers, Gene People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word 'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's stupid bounce rules.
