<BlkPoohba> hey all
<BlkPoohba> something very interesting is going on...
<BlkPoohba> all this time i thought my computer was messed up and not working.  FC5 would get to starting Hal and then freeze.
<BlkPoohba> well, everything is working except X:0  all of my services are working.  i was able to ssh into it and vnc into an already running session
<BlkPoohba> so while in vnc i su - and then gdm and localhost:0 came up fine
<BlkPoohba> what could be causing this?
<BlkPoohba> I am about to reinstall but I would like to know

I have a previous post on here about this "FC5 doesn't start up right."
