Faster changing from tab to tab in Firefox

Dear All

When I try changing from a busy (reading from some site) tab to a
different tab in Firefox, the change is not operated while the first
tab is busy. Is there some way of changing faster from a tab to
another? I am using the TabBrowser extension.
