Usually it's your account username @domain.com. But as you choose your username, that's allright. If you have more than one email account aloted, then of course you choose the names. So you could have gene@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, dee@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, and others. You retrieve it via POP3 just like verizon, and you can usually send via SMTP to either verizon's SMTP servers, or the webhosts' SMTP servers.
