Swap "will" for "may". I've seen XP moved from one box to another, and it'd automatically install drivers (if it could) for the new hardware, as it booted up. If it couldn't manage it, you could manually install your hardware drivers after boot-up. XP being licensed to a particular set of hardware is the bigger bugbear to work around. -- (Currently running FC4, occasionally trying FC5.)
