The broken packages were only released less than 24 hours ago so it's not surprising that google didn't turn anything up.

I was able to install 0.9.16. The only thing I noticed was that there was
a new package and I needed to use -U instead of -F. I used rpm and not yum,
though.

The package is not broken in FC5; it has a dependency on /usr/bin/xmessage, which is OK for FC5 but not for older distributions where xmessage is in /usr/bin/X11. Are you using FC5?
