Well, to be blunt. It's not working. I've tried configuring things via the CUPS webserver, and separately by the Gnome print configuration tool. Neither set a default for everything else. So that's yet another software, not user, fault. (I've tried all that I ought to.) I don't feel like trying to tracking the cause at the moment, I might have a bash at it later. -- (Currently running FC4, occasionally trying FC5.)
