In every instance I use, the DeviceURL is simply usb:/dev/usb/lp0 If I am understanding you aright, I would think that your problem may be in the ServerName statement in /etc/cups/client.conf. Does the server use the same name, whichever version of FC you are booted to? If it doesn't, that's obviously going to cause problems. I'd check that the /etc/hosts file has a line that clearly names the box, on the server. Mine shows 192.168.0.30 borg.mylan.net borg I could be wrong, but I think that is not automatically inserted, many things just using the localhost line. Note also the line Allow from 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 in cups.conf. Just a few ideas. Anne
