Hello

Having the install cds written correctly, I inserted
the cd #1, set the boot order with the cd to be first,
then booted. The process skips the cd (as there were
nothing in the drive) and continues from the hdd.
Tried with another bootable cd (a livecd), the same
happened.
I've got a Philips CD-DVD writer as cd unit.
What can be the problem?

Thanks
Endre

What type of media (e.g. CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+R, etc.) did you use? The
CD-ROM drive may not be capable of handling that media type or can not
reliably read discs burned at high speeds. Try using a different media
type or burn at a slower speed.
