Hi people, I have an FC5 server which has exported /home via NFS. Client machines automount /home. Here is the situation: On one machine i can run Firefox no worries. If i log in to the server and try to run Firefox, it seems to think it is already running. But it clearly is not. What it seems to be doing is picking up on the existance of some temporary (or other) files from the instance of firefox on *another* machine. Attempting to run Firefox gives this error dialog: "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing firefox process, or restart your system." At present the work around is to start firefox with -ProfileManager and make use of different profiles for different machines, but this is annoying. Can multiple instances of firefox actually share a single profile? Can anyone else confirm this behavour?
