I have had pretty good experiences with dell and linux. I also subscribe
to the linux-poweredge mail list. I also note that Matt Domsch at Dell
is now on Fedora board. I also note that Matt has done fantastic things
with his dkms tools. I also note that their toolkit for install OMSA on
Linux systems RHEL & CentOS is simple and fantastic. I am running
various Dell PowerEdge servers on various versions of CentOS and RHEL
and have received all the support I have ever asked for.

I guess I don't share the view of Timothy Payne that "it's fairly common
knowledge that Dell has virtually no linux strategy" - on the contrary,
I would suggest that Timothy Payne has no knowledge of Dell's Linux
strategy
