This problem was reported last week in fedora-test-list (Rawhide).
Please do yum update gdm and your system should be back.

I used yumex (install gdm) an its working fine! :-)
I found that [updates-testing] Repositories was enabled and software Updater
updated the current installed GDM to gdm.i386 2.14.4-1.fc5.2 (which i think its under testing)
