kernel-devel-2.6.16-1.2122_FC5: dm.h missing

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I was trying to build TrueCrypt (www.truecrypt.org) on my FC5 x86_64 box
and noticed that the required dm.h header file is not included in the
kernel-devel-2.6.16-1.2122_FC5 rpm. Any chance this file could be
included in feature kernels?

To solve this I had to download the kernel-2.6.16-1.2122_FC5.src.rpm
start the build (in case it got patched), interrupt it and copy dm.h
from BUILD/kernel-2.6.16/linux-2.6.16.x86_64/drivers/md/ to my TrueCrypt
source directory. While this is a solution it would save a big download
and some fiddling to get this resolved. Would appreciate it!

If there's a better way to request this, I would appreciate the info.

Thanks and regards,
Patrick
