glxgears frame rates are:

6555 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1310.831 FPS

What's your UT2004 patch level ?

The graphics card according to lspci is:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82915G/GV/910GL
Express Chipset Family Graphics Controller (rev 04)

Intel do post drivers on their site for this model.

Hope this helps,

Hi guys,

I'm trying to run UT2004 on my box. It runs perfectly under Windows
XP,
but I keep getting errors under linux.

What kind of errors ? Be more specific please...

I have run glxgears, and this seems run very quickly, so I assume
OpenGL
is working.

What are the framerates when you run glxgears ?

Is there a way I can update the drivers for my graphics card? I've
noticed there are Linux drivers on the Intel site, but the
installation
guide is... well... a load of rubbish!

What kind of graphics card do you have ? I'm not aware of Intel
drivers for linux, there are proprietry 3D drivers voor Nvidia & Ati
cards though.

If anyone has this working I'd be grateful to know how.

Cheers,
