There shouldn't be things like buffer underruns while burning, as the plus discs can stop and start burning at the drop of a hat. But, as with all things, the media and drives that you use will play a major part in that. And how well your applications support the features (DVD video recorders being a prime example - DVD+ discs offer a variety of nice-sounding features, none of which I've seen supported on any drive. A friend of mine has no end of grief with various brands and types of blank DVDs in his system. I've not fared much better using the same as him, but haven't had a problem with Verbatim discs. He's trying to spend the least amount of money, I'm prepared to pay reasonable cash for good results. -- (Currently running FC4, occasionally trying FC5.)
