Question on memtest86

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I've got FC4 running on a orphaned laptop (linare LADBS200) and memory test is showing the chipset as VIA KN266. It's only got 128 MB so I would like upgrade the SODIMM. Linare is unreachable so I have zero way of finding out what SODIMM it takes. Can I take memtest86's display of chipset as fact? I installed it via yum (dag IIRC). Or is there a better way of finding out?
