Get busy packaging TeXLive, I guess. Or find a way to move TeX out of

From reviewing some of the pertinent Debian lists, they appear to be
embarking on the former strategy with TexLive, which seems to have begun
last fall by Norbert Preining.
Perhaps they had some early insights into Thomas' situation.
