I have an error message !! :-( ...
[root@fc1 boot]#cp initrd-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.img
/tmp/initrd-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.img.gz
[root@fc1 boot]#cd /tmp
[root@fc1 tmp]#gunzip initrd-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.img.gz
[root@fc1 tmp]#cat initrd-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.img | cpio -it
cpio: premature end of archive

One thing that does bother me.... I don't quite understand your earlier
comment of "Fedora is installed what host OS on vmware". Not sure what
you were trying to communicate.
I have a notebook with Windows XP Pro (host OS) and I use VMWare Server and
I have fedora core 1 (virtual machine) what (guest OS).
thanks again.
