php/sqlite fc5 ? --without-sqlite

Hey all,

I tried using sqlite via the built in php functions on FC5 with no success, and in fact the configure command for php disables sqlite. I wonder why? sqlite is installed...?

After searching the web and bugzilla, I am wondering if php access to sqlite is in fact available via PDO ? /etc/php.d/pdo_sqlite.ini leads me to think so, but this

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=191625

left me wondering if having these both installed is trouble?

php-pecl-pdo-1.0.2-2.fc5
php-pdo-5.1.2-5

Can we use sqlite in FC5 via php scripts?

Thanks for any help,
