For what it is worth - I use an IBM cardbus card for ethernet, and it
works just peachy. I also have one that uses the tulip driver (it's a
Linksys - but I don't think they make this card anymore) that also just
works peachy.
You may be able to find an IBM cardbus card on eBay for not too much.
