Masquarade_as has to do with rewriting headers.  I think
you are looking at what 'hostname' returns on your
system.  If you want to lie about that, use
define(`confDOMAIN_NAME',`fake.domain.name')dnl
but normally you shouldn't - you should set the system
hostname correctly instead.
