True, I prefer modular software to everything-but-the-kitchen-sink, as it lets me choose best-of-breed for each kind of application. The biggest problem I see with FF and TB is the degree of overlap without actual sharing. If they can agree on the underlying toolkit then a lot of the bloat argument favoring SM goes away. A stable and well-defined infrastructure will also allow greater variety in the ecology of compatible applications built on top of it. (Crap, I've been around the marketing people too long!)
