What IR hardware is yours? What module parameters do you give it? Grmbl, my IR hardware doesn't appear anymore in lspci's output as it did, maybe I stripped down my kernel config too much :-D. > 2) Sound buttons (http://lineak.sourceforge.net/ will help you) Works fine here, w/ keyboard assignments from GNOME's keyboard shortcuts (no xmodmap modifications, no need for i8k module and I don't remember having done anything for it). Keycodes are: volume down: 0xae volume up: 0xb0 volume mute: 0xa0 > 3) ipw2200 led Hmm yes this one doesn't work here too (but works in winXP). I didn't care of it, since the wifi link works :). > 4) modem (linuxant hsfmodem driver works). > > I'm not with the laptop, and I can't send you more "ticks". Yes please, at your convenience. > Only a question, I have the sense that hd and dvd burns are too slow, and > I'm using scsi-sata drivers for them (hd and dvd), ¿Do you need to pass > any boot parameters to kernel or add any parameters to modules at load > time? I had very poor CD/DVD transfer rates and CPU eating until I passed hdc=noprobe at boot time. Now the CD/DVD drive is /dev/hdc (was /dev/sdb, IIRC) and it works fine. Does it help? Thanks for your message! Regards, -- wwp
