Hi, since a few days qemu-system-sparc64 can boot Linux using virtio disks. Unfortunately currently there seems to be no Linux distribution which would have the virtio drivers on the install disk. Would Fedora be the first one? ;-) Assuming there will an install image, like it used to be at Fedora 12 times. In the QEMU 1.1 it's going to be not necessary anymore. It's just a workaround till OpenBIOS patches for fixing the problem find their perfect form.
