text mode does a minimal install with default partitioning only at silo  biit 
with "linux text console=ttyS0,9600"

if you want to customise anything at all either use kickstart or append vnc to 
the install i.e. "linux vnc console=ttyS0,9600"  

if your using headless hardware you will need to appened console=ttyS0,9600 to 
your install
