Packages that need some TLC

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hey all,

here is a list of some of the packages that need to be looked at for fedora
SPARC there are many more.
you can look them up at http://sparc.koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/ to see
why they failed. then you can use fedora-cvs to check out from cvs to work
out patches, etc, to build you need to run "koji -c ~/.koji/sparc-config
build dist-f9 `make cvsurl`" in your tagged checkout,

opencv
ipa
seq24
sblim-wbemcli
ruby-bdb
referencer
R
qca-tls
python-tag
lapack
alliance
python-durus
polyxmass-bin
openlierox
hdf
perl-Net-CUPS
Inventor
multiget
metakit
k3d
m2crypto
gnubg
ocaml
gtkmozembedmm
libdap
prelink
gpsim

known not to run is KDE4 there a bunch of broken assumptions as far as
libdir handling goes. it may work if you install the sparc64 builds.
There are alot of assumptions that if you are on a 64 bit machine then
things are in /usr/lib64 running sparc32 startkde does not work right
either. firefox needs some assembly work on sparc64. caillian disabled it
from building due to the missing asm. even though with the inbuilt stubs
it builds. That needs to be fixed so that going forward things will build
as expected.
