Hello,The Scientific spin is marked for removal (please see Ben's e-mailbelow). What should we do here?- is it needed?- if it is, do we have the resources to keep it going? At the moment, at least from a NeuroFedora perspective, the Scientificspin/image isn't a requirement. It's quite general purpose, so we haveour own spin/lab with specialised software that also includes a bunch ofthe Scientific packages to help with analysis.
Not clear if want to consolidate with Robotics to have a Makers, Science and Engineering spin. The SIG page already has a large number of packages [1],[2] but not sure all are used enough to warrant inclusion. In principle I can take this up as am already using KDE, but am behind on my commitments to Fedora project so would not be able to make much contributions until Fedora 33. It might be worth reaching out to maker labs/hacker spaces and researchers.
