[Fedora Robotics] playerv and stage

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Just a quick bit: if you want to try out playerv, the easiest way to do so is this (you'll need both player and stage installed):

$ player /usr/share/stage/worlds/everything.cfg &
$ playerv -h localhost -p 6665 --laser:0 --position2d:0

The first command should start up a stage simulation window. The second starts up playerv in a small window with it subscribed to the laser and position2d device proxies. To command the robot, go to Devices->position2d:0 (stage) in the playerv window and check command. Then, just click on the robot in the playerv window, and drag the mouse around
to move.

Enjoy :)
