https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1036843 Bug ID: 1036843 Summary: x2go section of Fedora 20 Release notes says "Closed Source" and infers x2go is based on closed source Product: Fedora Documentation Version: devel Component: release-notes Assignee: relnotes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Reporter: dowdle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx QA Contact: docs-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx CC: relnotes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, wb8rcr@xxxxxxxx, zach@xxxxxxxxxx Looking at the Fedora 20 release notes today I see that the x2go section (3.1.1.1) says: "X2Go is a featureful remote desktop solution based on NoMachine's now closed source NX project." While NoMachine's new NX4 product is indeed closed source / proprietary, x2go is NOT based on NX4. It is based on the GPL'ed NX3 libraries. I think that sentence is poorly worded and needs to be clarified. I'd recommend: "X2go is a featureful remote desktop solution based on a fork of NoMachine's GPL'ed NX3 libraries." -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
