Hi Luigi and many thanks for the huge effort you've put into getting the
Release Notes into Italian in such a short space of time!

What you're seeing here is the result of a known bug in Publican 1.6 —
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=568201

This was fixed in Publican 1.6.1, but this version unfortunately
introduces a new (and different) error when building translated content
— https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=576771

It looks like this second bug might be fixed now in source; if testing
confirms the fix and doesn't show any other regressions, we will release
a new version of Publican very shortly.

John, the bug in 1.6 hits the body text itself; the bug in 1.6.1 only
munges up the "Common Content" in the preface but renders body text
correctly and therefore would allow translators to proofread their work.
Could you please upgrade Publican to 1.6.1 on the machine that you're
using to build these draft docs?

Cheers

Rudi
