It's not quite as bad as that, however: P5 (i586) was the original Pentium microarchitecture; Intel introduced P6 (i686) in 1995 as the Pentium Pro and continued it in the Pentium II and Pentium III. The Pentium 4 was based on the NetBurst architecture that followed P6. Strictly, then, we should say "requires an Intel Pentium Pro or better processor".
