Summary: pilot-link configuration is incomplete https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=280251 ------- Additional Comments From redhat-bugzilla@xxxxxxxxxx 2008-06-06 04:21 EST ------- Created an attachment (id=308517) --> (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=308517&action=view) Fix visor module fallback config and documentation re: working libusb/PolicyKit config, we're playing the waiting game again - it looks like we *might* get an errata release of hal/hal-info via bug #435093. Alex, Ivana, how long do you want to wait this time? I linked to patched on Monday. (Perhaps you could contact Richard directly to find out his plans?) Meanwhile the earlier change in usb.ids broke our fallback config for using the visor module. Attached is a patch to correct this (by removing 60-pilot.rules in favour of the upstream config with instructions to modify for Fedora). I don't know whether this warrants a release, but several users have been confused by this since the release of F9: https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-list/2008-May/msg01990.html https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-list/2008-June/msg00456.html http://lists.pilot-link.org/pipermail/pilot-link-general/2008-May/003351.html http://lists.pilot-link.org/pipermail/pilot-link-general/2008-June/003374.html -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. -- Fedora-relnotes-content mailing list Fedora-relnotes-content@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-relnotes-content
