announce beat complete, planet beat not happening

That's my status this week.  Apologies on the Planet Beat.  There's a 
collection of the most important links on the page, but I simply don't 
have the time to do the proper write-up to make it "newsworthy".

I'm going to try to recruit for a new writer for that Beat.
