It's fine now; what I'm trying to get at is, shouldn't rhgb have a dependency on vte so that this doesn't happen?
It does have a dependency....as seth just explained. you can see the dependency another way.. on a F7 system do: rpm -e --test vte outputs to stderr: error: Failed dependencies: libvte.so.9 is needed by (installed) rhgb-0.17.6-1.fc7.i386 libvte.so.9 is needed by (installed) gnome-terminal-2.18.0-1.fc7.i386 there IS a dependency, there's absolutely no question about that. The question is what's going wrong on your system that allowed rhgb to be installed without vte. As seth suggests, you make have more missing dependencies than you realize. -jef -- Fedora-maintainers mailing list Fedora-maintainers@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-maintainers -- Fedora-maintainers-readonly mailing list Fedora-maintainers-readonly@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-maintainers-readonly
