I'd like to +1 the recent suggestions for a mailing list solely dedicated to spreading necessary information to packagers. I have not much interest in most of the discussions that go on on fedora-maintainers, but I have to read them all in order to find the valuable information. I only maintain 4 packages, so it doesn't take much pain before I start wondering if the effort is worth it. I wonder how many packages in Fedora are maintained by people like me who have less than 10, say? At times I am tempted to unsubscribe and just check the wiki once I find that something seems to have changed (e.g. my packages don't build or appear), instead of trawling through all the discussions. I want to maintain my packages; if this gets too time-consuming I'll have to drop them.
