In the few cases I remember gnome-applet-sensors made bad assumptions,
so rebuilding it against a newer lm_sensors wasn't sufficient to pick up
new stuff, it also needed internal changes (for example, every sensor is
on a bus when the k8/core2 sensors are on a processor, etc)
Oh, but libsensors itself is full of assumptions like that so upstream really
shouldn't be complaining about gnome-applet-sensors making assumptions like that :)
Either way I volunteer myself as co-maintainer for gnome-applet-sensors,
because of my involvednes in lmsensors upstream.
