orphaning packages in a new world

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

It seems to me that
 http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackageMaintainers/OrphanedPackages
is not up to date. For example it says

2. Edit owners.list in Fedora Package CVS and set the initialowner field of
your package to extras-orphan[AT]fedoraproject.org e-mail address
  (substitute the [AT] appropriately).

And similar regarding how to unorphan package.

There is also a reference to
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/describecomponents.cgi?product=Fedora%20Extras
which seems to be obsolete to me. Does anybody knows what replace that
page?

Also there is no mention of dead.package (or link to
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackageMaintainers/PackageEndOfLife
from
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackageMaintainers/OrphanedPackages#head-b09f62db1ef61a68d8c44a72abf5fbd2e6a835fe
Shouldn't it be something along 'if nobody has claimed ownership of your
package you should follow
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackageMaintainers/PackageEndOfLife
for the devel branch.'
