Rebuild without a changelog entry is something I'm very much against, especially if an issue creeps into the build precisely because it hasn't been rebuilt in a while. Doing this type of rebuild at this point is a no-go IMHO. We're trying to accomplish too many other things with this release. I definitely would never want to see such a rebuild after the last test release, preferably I'd see it before the feature freeze since such rebuilds could pick up new "features". I'm still very much of the opinion that mass builds should only be done when there is a technical reason, flipping a dist tag is not reason enough for me. The only "confusion" comes from us not messaging how Fedora is put together clearly enough, highlighting inheritance from previous releases. We have Matt's rebuilds that happen regularly, these can be reviewed for things we might want to do a real rebuild for, instead of just blindly rebuilding everything for often no good reason. -- Jesse Keating Release Engineer: Fedora
