FESCo IIRC (there was no public summary of the meeting afaik) agreed on
the FUDCon 2007 meeting to discourage the use of cvs-import and thus
remove the section that describes its use from the wiki (e.g.
http://www.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Extras/UsingCvsFaq ). The discussion
further settled on "it would be nice if someone improves the cvs-import
script to force users to look at a diff before the import. But if nobody
works on this lets ignore the problem for a little bit longer, as we
probably get a new VCS in less then one year anyway -- when doing that
switch make sure users get a diff presented".
Is that roughly correct? If yes: is there anything else that needs to be
discussed?
Or did I miss anything?
