As part of Fedora's ongoing commitment to Free Software, we have been undergoing a license audit of the packages contained in Fedora Core. The macutils package was found to have no valid license or copyright, and questionable lineage. Since nothing depends on macutils, this was a trivial package to remove, and it has been taken out of Fedora Core starting with FC-6.
