Since that article only covers the Gnome builtin screencaster which does not have audio. I would say yes; another article on screencasting would be good.
From what I can see so far ffmpeg and gstreamer are being replaced, at least for video, by pipewire. The only gui based screencaster I could find that uses pipewire is the flatpack version of OBS Studio. OBS Studio seems to be quite comprehensive
I won't be starting my demo video project for a few months yet. Now I can only get it installed and use it to make a file base screencast. At about mid 2020 after I've made a couple videos I will likely know enough about it to write an article. Given that, I'll wait on proposing an article. Perhaps before then someone else will the article.
