Might I boldly suggest Cockpit module for session recording (it only covers a limited scope as it's useful for commandline only based recording needs): https://github.com/Scribery/cockpit-session-recording It's an optional Cockpit module available on RHEL8 ( https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/getting-started-session-recording-red-hat-enterprise-linux-8-beta), I'm quite sure it's available on Fedora 31 while Fedora 30 & 29 might not be covered but available through manual builds.
