Hi Paul: I'm having a bit of a hard time with the new Wordpress editor. It keeps auto- removing all the newlines in my pre-formatted text. It also removes the leading # from lines that I past into the pre-formatted block. I tried using the code tag instead, but that has problems rendering angle brackets (using the ASCII character gives an error and the HTML escape codes don't get translated). I think disabling auto-correction in pre-formatted text blocks would be the best option.
