I had to make a post-publication edit to our most recent COPR article. It wasn't clear before publication that one of the included repos included material not eligible to redistribute. (Thus making it ineligible also for COPR.) I talked to the COPR folks as well as the author and took steps to remove it from the article. I included an editors' note with an apology for the issue. Thanks to the COPR folks as well for acting swiftly. In the future, let's make sure that included repos are appropriate. By the way, COPR has a function where you can make a report if you find material there that doesn't belong -- like software that is not eligible to redistribute. -- Paul _______________________________________________ Fedora Magazine mailing list -- magazine@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to magazine-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/magazine@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
