It does increase visibility into past discussions, but so does the
hyperkitty interface to the mailing lists. There are some lists I don't
subscribe to, but follow exclusively using hyperkitty.
I think it's fair to give http://discussions.fedoraproject.org a try
and see if it increases visibility, *especially* when it comes to
finding authors, articles, etc.
