Hi,

Our FPL suggested a write up on where we are with the Spectre vulnerability
since work on that is still ongoing. I wrote up a brief summary of where
we are as of this evening

This should be ready to go after editing but please double check with
me before hitting publish in case anything has changed (yes, patches
are moving that fast)

First and foremost, thank you for the submission here, Laura. I think
we should publish this as soon as practical.

Second, I apologize profusely but there's no way I can personally get
this one before the weekend. Maybe it would be possible for us to
catch up on Monday to update the article as needed and then push it
out? Or maybe Matthew can help you with that, since he has rights as
well.

As of now everything in the article should be accurate and I don't
anticipate it changing over the weekend so we could run it on
Monday.

Thanks,
Laura
