Hello Ashutosh, That sounds great! Some of the useful things I've found in my life as an end user and systems admin/engineer are: max-depth (or the -d argument) staying on the local disk and not reaching out to other file systems (or the -x argument) ...also available in the main repositories is: `ncdu`, which is a great ncurses based disk usage utillity. Thanks for your time and efforts, I verily look forward to the article Ashutosh! ~Steven On Sun, Sep 3, 2017 at 10:57 PM, Ashutosh Bhakare <unnatisales123@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hello All > > As a end user there is always a requirement to check the disk, folder, > file and partition size utilization. > > I am planning to write article on 'du' (disk usage) which covers > Size utilization of file, folder, partition, particular extension, > total summary etc. > > Your inputs please > > Regards > Ashutosh > _______________________________________________ > Fedora Magazine mailing list -- magazine@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe send an email to magazine-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > -- Steven M.
