As a Fedora user, I've been wondering about the state of Wayland on NVIDIA Optimus laptops, but have found it difficult to find a straight answer. There's conflicting or old information on various blogs and news sites. I wonder if these could even turn into some sort of investigative articles. With the example of Wayland on NVIDIA Optimus laptops, this might involve talking to Hans de Goede, Simon (of negativo17), or some other GNOME developers. link
