So to turn the question around, what makes your ideas different? If we want to draw users and contributors who aren't distro/OS shopping we need to show that what they do is both able to be done in Fedora and in some cases works better than what they may be doing today. That said, I don't think we are adding value by duplicating something already done better elsewhere, especially if the net change is roughly 's/apt/dnf/'.
