Hi all,

I was chatting with someone about articles on opensource.com earlier today, and he reminded me that that blog's team sends out a monthly email to a listserv of existing authors, that contains some ideas for potential blogs.

Seems to me that this might be useful for the Magazine's past authors to (a) inspire them to keep writing, and (b) give them an idea of what would create good content.

What do others think? There may be some authors for that blog reading this, so feel free to share your reaction to the idea "in the real world".

Big +1.

If the ideas don't get written, a quarterly post about new writers could include them.

Regards,

bex

A late follow-up from me, but for what it's worth, I think this would be an awesome idea. It would be great if someone wanted to work on expanding some of the starter pitches and do some trial runs on an ad-hoc basis. :)
